MAHAMS sponsors a number of one day clinics on timely topics for public housing maintenance workers. Many local housing authorities in Massachusetts have a part time Executive Director and a part time maintenance person. The Shirt Sleeve Clinic allows you the opportunity to network with other local authorities and learn about a variety of subjects including but not limited to: boiler maintenance, carpentry, electrical, grounds, plumbing, and tub/tile repairs. We frequently bring in specialized vendors for training as well as DHCD personnel to answer important questions. The cost to attend a clinic is $25 and includes a prepared lunch. The clinics are rotated to various parts of the state to allow regional training for our members.
